COA & third-party testing

Every batch of research peptides sold by Peptides Collective is independently tested before it is released for sale. Here is what our certificates show, what they don’t, and how to get the certificate for the exact batch you receive.

The basics

What a certificate of analysis is

A COA is a laboratory report for one specific production batch. It records what the laboratory tested, the method used and the result. Our certificates are produced by an independent third-party analytical laboratory, not by the manufacturer and not by us.

Identity

Mass spectrometry (MS) confirms the molecule in the vial matches the expected molecular weight of the listed compound.

Purity

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) measures the share of the sample that is the target peptide, reported as a percentage.

Batch traceability

Each certificate carries a batch or lot number, so the report can be matched to the vials that came from that batch.

Know the limits

What a COA proves, and what it does not

It does showThat a sample from the named batch was tested on the stated date, and what identity and purity results the laboratory recorded.
It does not showThat a product is safe or suitable for human or veterinary use. It does not replace your own laboratory verification, and it only applies to the batch number printed on it.
Quick guide

How to read one in under a minute

  1. Check the compound name and batch number match your vial label.
  2. Look for the purity result (HPLC) and the identity result (MS).
  3. Check the laboratory name, test date and signature or report ID.
  4. If anything does not match, contact us before use.
